ABOUT THE ROLE

RCR is now firmly established as Australia's leading Utility Scale Solar EPC contractor. With 800MW of renewable projects currently under construction, we are seeking a Contract Administrator with a background working on large construction / engineering projects to join us in the delivery of Daydream & Hayman Solar Farms.

The Contract Administrator is primarily responsible for controlling the contract administration methods, practices and procedures. The position has a strong focus on the development, implementation and governance of Contract Administration processes.

Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will be given a chance to strengthen your contracts management skills and grow your expertise.

DUTIES

  • Administration and maintenance of subcontracts through to final account, including management of payment claims, variations and correspondence.
  • Month end cost reporting and forecasting.
  • Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement.
  • Preparation of subcontractor payment schedules, packages, scopes, lettings, procurement.
  • Progress claim assistance and external variations.
  • Review, negotiation and finalisation of subcontractors.
  • Management and tracking of project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Intermediate level of contracts expereince within the building projects (desirable) and construction industry within a project environment
  • Strong office administration skills, the ability to juggle multiple priorities and sound organisational skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage assigned workload.
  • Mature approach and ability to complete tasks and adapt to change within a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Able to demonstrate commitment to safety, teamwork and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Advance knowledge of MS Excel and MS word (Pronto experience would be beneficial but not mandatory).
  • High level of financial knowledge, communication skills with strong attention to detail.
