RCR is now firmly established as Australia's leading Utility Scale Solar EPC contractor. With 800MW of renewable projects currently under construction, there is a requirement for an experienced Contract Manager with a multi-disciplined background to oversee multi-million-dollar renewable energies portfolios in a range of diversified locations.

Commencing May 2018, the Contract Manager is the key contact for our clients’ representatives and will work to develop strategic solutions, resolve issues and manage all aspects of the Contract effectively. This role will report to the Procurement & Logistics Manager & require a result-focus & adaptable approach to succeed.


  • Act as the central point of contact and a point of escalation for operational issues or matters.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the Contract.
  • Work closely with Management to develop strategies and manage issues.
  • Directly oversee and manage the duties and responsibilities of a team of support staff.
  • Oversees the appointment of all subcontractor engagements and their performance.
  • Use mature and adaptable approach


  • Tertiary qualification in Commercial/Construction Law, Finance, Quantity Surveying or Engineering.
  • Previous experience in a Contract Management role handling complex and diverse contracts.
  • Manage and Develop long term contracting relationships.
  • Demonstrated cost effective management.
  • Demonstrable experience in building partnership with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Ability to adapt to change & handle and use pressure to an advantage.
  • Possess advanced negotiation, contract drafting & influencing abilities, supported by high level verbal and written communication skills.
  • An interest in renewable energy and an ability to travel intermittently are both advantageous.
