RCR is now firmly established as Australia's leading Utility Scale Solar EPC contractor. With 800MW of renewable projects currently under construction, we are seeking for a commercially savvy and motivated Procurement Graduate Engineer with background dealing with contracts to join RCR Tomlinson in the delivery of renewable energies projects.

This opportunity will give you access into our Procurement team and will allow you to gain experience in providing procurement support to RCR site-based delivery teams to facilitate construction and delivery of the Solar Farm works.

We are looking for a motivated graduate interested in further developing their experience and skills. This will be a challenging and rewarding role which forms an integral part of the project team. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will assist with conducting a range of project assignments within clearly defined parameters and standards under general direction.

The procurement function in RCR Tomlinson establishes and manages supply arrangements; assists sites and corporate areas to engage suppliers; maintains the purchasing and procurement policies, procedures, instructions and forms.


  • Assist procurement projects including initial planning, development of documentation and establishment of contracts, ensuring compliance with RCR procurement policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of procurement processes, decisions and contractual arrangements.
  • Provide support and assistance to Project Managers, Project Engineers and other members of the project team.
  • Assist the Procurement team with preparation of tender and quotation documents
  • Data process transaction records accurately into the accounting and stock system (SAP)
  • Assist and support the Coordinator Procurement in other supply management functions as required


  • An undergraduate or post-graduate degree and graduated from university in the last 2 years.
  • A degree relevant to procurement and/or logistics, such as Business/International Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Law or Information Technology.
  • An interest in procurement.
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills and can communicate to a wide range of audiences.
  • Some proven ability to work with people both in a team and autonomously.
  • Good problem-solving skills, eye for detail
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated experience establishing contracts with focus on outcomes.
  • Highly computer literate: MS Word and Excel.
