Production Worker – Fabrication and Assembly – Coopers Plains

RCR Laser are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working and committed Production Worker to join our Coopers Plains, Qld branch.

We are one of Australia's most successful laser processing specialists with an enviable reputation for innovation and customer satisfaction. We provide high precision cutting and fabrication solutions for a diverse range of materials, including different grades of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

An industry background in manufacturing or the steel industry would give you good grounding to be successful for this job.

We seek an experienced Production Workers who will be responsible for:

  • Assembly Operations
  • Press Studding
  • Grinding, Sanding, Tapping and Nutserting
  • General housekeeping of work areas
  • General labouring
  • Assist with folding and fabrication duties
  • Packing and loading customer goods for pick up
  • Operating a Forklift
  • Ad hoc tasks as directed by Operations Manager.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A current Australian Forklift licence
  • Reliable work ethic
  • Have a high attention to detail
  • Hardworking and physically fit
  • Good hand / eye coordination skills
  • Safety conscious and ability to work in a busy environment
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • Hand and power tools experience
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision

Successful candidates will be asked to provide referee details and undergo pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing.

Must have Australian work rights
