ABOUT THE ROLE

RCR Resolve FM is a leading provider of technical facilities maintenance services in Australia and New Zealand.

Due to a recent contract win, RCR is looking for a Generator Mechanic to work various remote sites, located around Laverton and Leonora, WA. The Generator Mechanic will work as part of a team to provide effective and efficient mechanical service involving the repair, servicing, and maintenance of Radar site plant, equipment, and vehicles.

The successful candidate will be required to obtain and hold an NV1 Security Clearance to apply for this you must be an Australian citizen. The start date for this role will be in November 2018.

DUTIES

  • Diagnose problems on CAT engines using SIS software.
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on, equipment, machinery and vehicles as directed.
  • Diagnose faults in machinery/vehicles systems and rectify.
  • Ensure that all work performed meets RCR Resolve FMs Safety, Quality, Timeliness and Customer Standards and achieves the overall business plans and objectives.
  • Ensure that all work undertaken complies with the Company’s commercial obligations to provide Service and Maintenance as required by the scope of the JORN/BAE Contract.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Trade qualification of Diesel Mechanic and 3 years minimum trade experience such as Diesel Mechanic, fitter, and turner.
  • Knowledge of mechanical workshop operations and associated equipment.
  • Working knowledge of SIS CAT program
  • Knowledge of standards and regulations associated with the mechanical workshop plant and fleet.
  • Knowledge of the latest technology relating to a mechanical workshop, plant, and fleet.
  • Safe use and handling of capital and minor plant and equipment.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations and working relationship in a friendly and flexible manner.
