With RCR recently securing a new project, we are seeking a Construction Manager, ideally with experience of working on Utility Solar projects to work on a specific project based in regional Western Australia.

The primary purpose of this position is to manage all construction related activities for the project from initial site investigation to completion. The Construction Manager is a focal point for the construction works in all disciplines and ensures that the most safe, efficient and assured construction solutions are employed. You will ensure that the preparation and execution of the project works are in accordance with client requirements and RCR standards. You will apply your positive stakeholder management skills to Maintain and foster further client relationships with the focus of providing additional services and support.

To be consider for the position you must have the following:

  • Possess a tertiary qualification in construction, engineering or similar discipline from a recognised institution (i.e. Certificate IV or Degree).
  • Relevant building or construction experience at foreman/supervisor level or senior, of at least fifteen (15) years. (Projects with regular expenditure rates of $20million or above).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of legislation, policy, processes and practices involved in the design and construction of major civil infrastructure projects.
  • Principles of supervision, training and performance evaluation.
  • NSW Construction Industry Induction Card.
  • Workplace Behavioural Competency Assessment.
  • High computer literate: Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project.
