Technical Officer - Product Support - Mining Manufacturing OSR

We current require a Technical Officer with a back ground in Product Support Services, Hydraulics, Electrical Controls, Root Cause Analysis processes and Best Practice Maintenance Services within the Mining Manufacturing Industry to join our talented team based in Bunbury, WA.

Duties will include the following:

  • Maintain a high level of Product Support Services to Clients that includes technical and product support both on and off site and complete all works in a manner that ensures compliance with client and RCR standards.
  • Ensure statutory compliance, engineering standards and maintenance procedures are followed and identify new business opportunities for RCR.
  • Manage specific projects as designated by management. These works include, but not limited to technical reviews, plant upgrades, overhauls, modifications, repairs, site installations, commissioning and training.
  • Ensure employees, clients and visitors comply with the RCR Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures at all times..

To be considered for the position you must have the following:

  • Have 5 to 10 years experience in maintenance and product support services, Client and front of shop Service Support, associated with OEM plant, major client contracts and business processes
  • Have 5 to 10 years experience in electrical control, hydraulic and pneumatic system diagnostics and repair
  • Intermediate MS Project, Word and Excel
  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering
  • Tertiary qualified Hydraulics Technician
  • Working knowledge of Australian standards and statutory requirements
  • Experienced in production activities with exposure to OEM plant, major client contracts and stores business processes plus overall project management and execution
  • Commitment to quality and the concepts of continuous improvement
  • Ability to produce high quality procedural documentation
  • Good experience with computerised CMMS, Micro Soft systems
  • Demonstrate logical problem solving and analytical skills
  • Advanced data collection and statistical analysis skills
