ABOUT THE ROLE

RCR’s Facilities Maintenance Services Division are looking for an experienced Facilities Coordinator with a trade qualification in Air Conditioning, Electrical or an associated background.

A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.

DUTIES

  • Coordinate all planned maintenance activities and operational programs
  • Coordinate all reactive works and prepare cost estimates where required
  • Ensure any work undertaken is performed within the required timeframe and costs are managed
  • Program & manage regular meetings with key stakeholders
  • Manage and coordinate the services of 3rd party specialist subcontractors
  • Ensure all appropriate contract variation records are maintained


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • A Trade qualification in Air Conditioning, Electrical or associated background
  • Proven experience working on remote sites with previous experience in Defence being highly regarded
  • Current driver's licence, as well as current forklift licence
  • Excellent Electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrable experience in leading a team
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • The ability to manage a varied and complex work load
  • Planning, problem solving and coordination skills;
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Skills consistent with onsite leadership and coordination including, collaboration, time management, direction and issue resolution
  • The ability to manage multiple competing priorities
